The Qatar authorities had previously announced that February 10, 2024, would be the final date for ‘Hayya With Me’ visa holders to enter the country. The validity period for their stay was extended until February 24, 2024, as per the statement issued by the Ministry of Interior (MoI) on December 20, 2023.

However, on February 11, 2024, individuals holding the Hayya Visa began receiving email notifications informing them that their Qatar Visa had expired. The message clearly stated, “If you wish to return to Qatar, you must reapply and return with a new Entry Visa. You can submit a new Hayya application through the Hayya to Qatar App or on Hayya.”

The Hayya Visa, also known as the Hayya Card, was introduced by Qatar to facilitate the entry of visitors during the FIFA World Cup 2022. The widely popular ‘Hayya With Me’ visa program that allowed fans from around the world to witness the grandeur of this prestigious event.

Alternatives to “Hayya With Me” Visa

The Hayya portal offers four main visa categories, each designed to cater to the unique needs of different travelers:

Tourist Visa (A1)

Open to all nationalities, this visa allows for a seamless entry into Qatar for tourism purposes. With a fee of QR100 payable upon approval, applicants must possess a passport with at least three months validity and provide accommodation verification.

GCC Resident Visa (A2)

Tailored for residents of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, this visa facilitates hassle-free travel to Qatar for individuals of all professions. The requirements include a passport with a minimum of three months validity, accommodation verification, and a fee of QR100 upon approval.

Visa with ETA (A3)

Individuals holding valid visas or residence permits from the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Schengen area, Australia, or New Zealand are eligible for this convenient visa option. The application process requires a passport with at least three months validity and a fee of QR100 payable upon approval.

Visa for Companion of GCC Citizen (A4)

Designed for those traveling with a GCC citizen sponsor, this visa enables companions to explore Qatar alongside their hosts. Applicants must possess a passport with a minimum of three months validity and pay a fee of QR100 upon approval.
